Martha's Vineyard

Date: May 5, 2011 -  In an effort to show my parents a good time when they were in town for my graduation I took them and the kids to Martha's Vineyard, an island just off the coast of the arm (aka Cape Code) of Massachusetts. It's a beautiful quant island full of whaler history. Unfortunately for us it was a cold overcast day and it even rained a little. We missed the beginning of the tourist season by three weeks so the majority of the boutique shops, tours, and fun tourist activities weren't running.  Despite the weather and the lack of activities we all enjoyed the beauty of the island and spending some quality time together. Take a look at my attempt to capture the beauty of the day.

(song: Please Don't Go by Barcelona)

Here are some pictures of our short trip.
When we got to these well known cliffs it was down pouring rain, but after the sun came out for about 10 minutes so we could enjoy the view.

If anyone finds a glow in the dark CTR ring on this beach it is Bryson's.  We think it slipped off when he was throwing rocks in the water.  It's the second one he has lost...
